Orthotics & Biomechanics

Aside from podiatry, my other passion in life is sport. That said, the two are strongly linked – as a former rugby player for the Racing Club de France I gained first hand experience of the benefits of biomechanics in my own physical performance.

Since graduating from the National Institute of Podology (Paris, France) my work has taken me all around the world; Toronto, Dubai, Monaco, London and in the Maldives. It was there where I gained experience in medical pedicures (Chiropody) within the One&Only Reethi Rah Hotel using the Bastien Gonzalez method and designed insoles for 5 star hotels (BGA insoles). Not only that but during my 7 years at Decathlon, I trained no less than 9 of their stores in the technicalities of running gear and footwear for brands such as Nike, Adidas, Asics, Mizuno, New Balance and in-house brand Kalenji.

The valuable insights I’ve gained into research and development has formed a huge part of my approach to treatment – referring to other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

It’s my belief that orthotics, shoes and lacing methods are often key factors in addressing body pain.
